Continuing legal battle not best way to spend city’s funds

Sir: Mike Bradley says he has never received a public complaint about the millions in legal costs which the city spent in the court case on the land deal.

Well, here is one complaint.

The case achieved absolutely nothing for the city. Now our “Don Quixote" mayor wants to spend more money pursuing the mortgage dispute “to the gates of hell."

Doesn't he get it? Lawyers and courts mean big bucks and, ultimately, no one wins.

Spend my tax dollars more responsibly; for example, on maintaining the streets. The west end of Confederation Street is a disgrace to the city.
