ProfessionalI am a graduate of the University of Saskatchewan with a BSc in Chemical Engineering in 1958. I was accepted as a Professional Engineer by the Association of Professional Engineers of the Province of Ontario (APEO) in 1960. The APEO is now known as Professional Engineers Ontario (PEO). It is the licensing body for Professional Engineers in the province. I continue to be a retired member of the PEO. In the 1970's I was on the executive of the Lambton Institute of Professional Engineers. This was one of the first organizations in Ontario that developed into the chapter system of the APEO. I also served on the chapter executive once it was established. I have also served on the executive of the Chemical Institute of Canada, Sarnia section. I was elected a Fellow of the Chemical Institute of Canada (FCIC) in 1982. Thanks for visiting! Dick Carpani |
