St. Clair Region Conservation Authority (SCRCA)One of my appointments from council was to the St. Clair Region Conservation Authority. It is one of the conservation authorities in Ontario, each based on a watershed. The Authorities are funded by the municipalities in them, so Sarnia is the biggest funding municipality of the SCRCA. This authority is one of the best managed in the province - it does a commendable job in the area, and had not increased its assessment to the funding municipalities for 12 years!
